Beta Participant Agreement

Assumption of Risk

Mountain biking and downhill riding involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, impacts, and equipment failure. By participating in the Ridermetry beta programme, you acknowledge and assume the risk of these activities. You accept responsibility for any injuries or damage that may result from riding. Ridermetry and Sonnet 7 Ltd are not liable for injuries sustained during use of the beta software or equipment.

Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure

The Ridermetry beta programme is a pre-launch evaluation. All features, design, data, communications, and feedback shared during the beta phase are confidential. You agree not to disclose any information about the beta programme, its features, performance, or results to third parties without written permission from Sonnet 7 Ltd.

Feedback and Content Licence

Any feedback, suggestions, reports, or contributions you provide during the beta programme may be used by Sonnet 7 Ltd at its sole discretion to improve the product and services. By participating, you grant Sonnet 7 Ltd a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use your feedback and any content you submit.

Beta Hardware and Prototype Status

Beta hardware is provided as-is and is prototype equipment. It is not a finished product. You acknowledge that prototype hardware may have defects, performance limitations, and reliability issues. Sonnet 7 Ltd makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the hardware or software. You use the beta equipment at your own risk.

Beta kits are for evaluation within the European Union, UK, and United States only. EU shipments will commence only after Sonnet 7 Ltd has completed EU radio regulation compliance (GPSR) registration and designated a responsible person. See our Imprint page for current regulatory status.

Data Use and Privacy

Your personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy, on the legal basis set out there. This includes riding data, performance metrics, and feedback you provide.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
